Eelis is originally from Hamina and is currently pursuing his Master’s in Pharmacy with a Pharmaceutical Technology major at the UEF.
At Galena, Eelis is a part of the Product Research and Development team. His task involves preparing test batches and assisting his team in various product development projects. He is also assisting in the production line to gain hands-on experience on different production processes.
“Continuous manufacturing, product development and elemental research are close to my heart”, says Eelis. In the future, he hopes to continue working in the same field and discover and experience as many sides of the pharma industry as possible.
Eelis is an enthusiastic runner who occasionally relishes cycling. He looks forward to enjoying his first summer both at Galena and in Kuopio.
Apart from Eelis, Galena has three more summer recruits and two interns so far.
